This is the privacy policy for Reps ("we," "us," "our"), a women's retreat brand based in Iceland. We care about your privacy and we keep this simple.

Who we are

Reps is operated by Reps ehf., a company registered in Iceland. You can reach us at reps@repsretreat.com.

What we collect

Right now, while we're pre-launch, we collect one thing: your email address, submitted through the waitlist form on our website.

We don't collect names, payment information, location data, or anything else at this stage. When we open bookings for the retreat, we'll collect more (name, dietary requirements, relevant medical information, payment details) — and we'll update this policy before that happens.

We also use standard website analytics through Squarespace, which collects anonymous information about how visitors use our site (pages visited, approximate location, device type). This is used to understand traffic, not to identify you.

Why we collect it

We collect your email so we can:

  • Send you a welcome message confirming you've joined the waitlist

  • Email you updates about the retreat as we get closer to launch

  • Let you know first when bookings open

That's it. We won't sell, share, or trade your email with anyone.

Legal basis (for GDPR)

For subscribers in the UK and EU: our legal basis for processing your email is your consent, which you give by submitting the waitlist form and confirming your subscription via the double opt-in email we send.

Who has access to your data

Your email is stored with two providers:

  • Flodesk (our email marketing platform) — based in the United States, GDPR-compliant

  • Squarespace (our website host) — based in the United States, GDPR-compliant

Both providers operate under appropriate data transfer safeguards for EU/UK personal data.

How long we keep your data

We keep your email on our list until you unsubscribe, or until we decide to close the waitlist. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email we send you.

If you ask us to delete your data, we'll do it within 30 days.

Your rights

Under GDPR and UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you

  • Correct it if it's wrong

  • Ask us to delete it

  • Withdraw your consent at any time

  • Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority (the ICO in the UK, the Data Protection Authority in your country if you're in the EU)

Cookies

Our website uses cookies that are essential for the site to function, and Squarespace's standard analytics cookies. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this policy as the business grows — particularly when bookings open and we start collecting payment information. If we make significant changes, we'll let waitlist subscribers know by email.
